The Love Story (Teeba Quiet Storm Remix) is the first chapter from Al Copeland's Love Story Rewind Project, which will feature several remixes from her debut EP Love Story released in September 2015. In this remake, Thomas "Teeba" Forbes transforms the Boom Bap laden original produced by Swedish producer Jonatan "Blezz" Malm into a seductive classic '90s R&B inspired arrangement. With Al's spirited vocals in sync with live keys, bass, guitar and other nostalgic accents, this record gives us all the feels, bae not included. 😜
After the chart topping success of Kelvin Sylvester and Al Copeland's 2017 "Come Over" releases, the duo is back with a feel good track called "I Can Feel It" on Soulful House label Vibe Boutique Records. The Original Mix is infused with a '90s house sound with lush vintage chords and a groovy bass line. The Soul Mix delivers a more Latin Soul Miami vibe. Yuki Kanesaka Carmichael delivers his magical touch with keys on both mixes. In this soulful uptempo track, Al showcases her grittier, lower registers highlighting the breadth of her vocal range and timbre.
Al Copeland's G.I.T.M.B. (International Show Remix) featuring Hip Hop virtuoso, Bakari J.B. is a hard hitting down tempo track. This genre-bending mix of sensual R&B vocals, slick hip hop word play, over a head bobbing trap beat evokes passion and wavey vibes.
